Iziko Lobomi Cross

 During 2003 the HBCCA-committee decided to install an illuminated Perspex cross on top of the existing timber cross at Iziko Lobomi, to make it more visible especially during night time. The new illuminated cross resembles the work that is done by the HBCCA in Imizamo Yethu as a source of hope and salvation to all who is still lost and living lives in darkness.

The cross was switched on by one of the founding members of the HBCCA, Pastor Griffiths Mkhetho during a special ceremony on 22^nd October 2003, the 7^th birthday of Iziko Lobomi.

“The people who live in darkness will see a great light.

On those who live in the dark land of death the light will shine.”
